Grief in Motion — A journey through scent, change, and healing

About Love, Transformation, and Healing with Scent and Flowers

In recent years, life has taught me, deeply and tenderly, what grief truly means.
Not as a single goodbye, but as a constant motion of change.

My husband suffered two brain hemorrhages.
He is alive, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.
He can do so much. He is here. We are here.

But still... everything changed.

The way we care for each other, the way we love, talk, laugh, are silent; it all took on a new form.

In that transformation, I discovered a quiet grief:
the longing for how things once were, the search for a new balance, and the lesson of holding on and letting go, all at once. This experience has deepened my work as an Aroma and Flower Therapist.

I learned that grief is not just about loss. It is about love searching for a new language. About continuing to feel, to connect, even when life takes a form you didn’t expect.

From this lived experience, I write this blog, about grief in all its faces.
About how scent, flowers, and frequency can create space
for softness, for love to keep flowing, even in the midst of change.

🌿 Grief is more than loss; it is the healing of what had to be let go

Grief is often only associated with death. But grief lives in so many moments of life. In every change, every goodbye, every version of yourself left behind. You may grieve a loved one who passed, but also a home you left behind, a job that no longer fit, or a relationship that no longer grew with you.

Even when you choose to let go consciously, there can be a quiet grief that travels with you; soft, invisible, yet present in your heart. In my practice as an Aroma and Flower Therapist, I meet these layers of grief every day.
The oils and flowers I work with carry a natural vibration, a frequency that reminds body and soul of their original harmony.
They don’t speak through words, but through feeling.

A scent can open a memory. A flower essence can soften old pain. Together, they bring movement where things were stuck.

Grief is not only sadness; it is also love. Love for what was. Love in the ache of what no longer is. And right there, in that tender space between pain and love, is where healing begins.

When I work with people, I attune to their unique energy. Sometimes I use oils that bring warmth, like Rose, which offers comfort and safety, or Vetiver, which helps you ground when life shakes. Other times, I turn to flower essences that bring light
to a foggy heart, like Mimosa or Clematis. During a session, I invite you to breathe, to feel, to listen.
Because underneath every sorrow is a message, an invitation from your soul to release the old, and to welcome something new.

Grief takes time.

But most of all, it requires gentleness; for yourself, for life, for all that has been.

My work is not to take your pain away, but to help you reconnect with the life force still flowing within you.
The oils, flowers, and frequencies hold that power: to open, to soften, to restore, to bring light where it feels dark.

Whether you are grieving someone, something, or a part of yourself, you are welcome.
With all that you carry. There is a path back to softness, and it begins with the courage to breathe into what you feel.

🌿 Through scent, vibration, and tenderness, I guide people back to themselves. To experience grief as a portal to growth,
a deeper homecoming to the heart. Because healing is not the end of grief, it is the meeting with love, in its purest form.

With love,
Wicky
